Simy (“the App”) is a SIM card information tool published by Inandu (Fernando Arturi). This page explains what information the App handles.
SIM information stays on your device
The App shows the information Android makes available without special permissions: network operator and SIM provider names, country, MCC/MNC codes, SIM state, roaming status, phone type and, on dual-SIM phones, the state of each slot. It does not read your phone number, IMEI, IMSI, ICCID, contacts, location or call history, and it requests no runtime permissions. This information is only displayed on screen; it is never stored or sent to us or to anyone else. If you use the Share or Copy buttons, the text goes only where you choose to send it through Android’s own share sheet or clipboard.
No account
The App does not require you to create an account or sign in.
Advertising ID
The App shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device’s Advertising ID to serve ads and measure their performance, including ad personalization. This is the only identifier the App shares with a third party, and it is used solely for advertising purposes. You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads at any time from your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads, on Android). See Google’s Privacy Policy for details on how Google handles this data: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Children
The App is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
